In France

     Doctoral research contract awarded by ED 520

     The Doctoral Research Contract is a three-year contract offered by the University of Strasbourg and is awarded following an interview organised by the Doctoral School. Candidates must hold a Master's degree or equivalent, regardless of the institution where they obtained their degree and the date on which they obtained it.      Research contract awarded by the Grand Est Region

     This funding enables thesis work to be carried out and regional expertise in research and technology transfer to be strengthened. It may therefore be of interest to any student wishing to prepare a thesis at a research organisation (university, CNRS, etc.) or regional technology transfer organisation. For more information, please visit the ACCRA website page dedicated to thesis funding.

     Industrial agreement for training through research (CIFRE)

     Financial support from foundations

     French PhD students can also fund their PhD studies by applying to French or foreign foundations. They should contact these foundations themselves to find out about possible grants and how they are awarded.
