     French PhD students have several ways to fund their PhD studies. Please visit the ACCRA website to find a list (not exhaustive) of PhD funding possibilities offered by the main French organisations (University, Region, Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation [MESRI]).

     Financial support from foundations

     French PhD students can also fund their PhD studies by applying to French or foreign foundations. They should contact these foundations themselves to find out about possible grants and how they are awarded.
